About My Order

How long will my repair take?

Our standard turnaround time is 2-5 working days (Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays excluded) since the item/s arrive at our premises. However, depending on our engineers’ workload, in some cases we can manage to have the repairs ready in an even shorter period of time.

What if my repair is delayed for any reason?

In some rare cases your repair may be delayed due to a number of factors: we may need to order additional parts, we may have to wait for telephone payment, we may require additional parts from the customer’s vehicle, etc. In such cases, we will try to always keep you updated about the delay and its cause; and will try to sort the issue out as soon as possible.

I am local to you, can I pop in for a repair?

You are more than welcome to visit us in case you need to speak to an engineer or if you want your item to be repaired whilst you wait. We have a reception area for our customers and we can perform some of our repairs while you wait (as fast as in 1 hour!).

You can pay for your repair before or after the job is completed. It is completely up to you. Simply proceed with the checkout process and, on the final stage, select your payment method: credit/debit card or pay by phone.
If you select the first option, you will be redirected to our secure online payment service provider, WorldPay, and the payment will be instantly charged on your card.
Should you prefer to pay for the repair after the job is completed, you can select the second option (pay by phone). We will let you know by text message when the repair is completed, so that you can proceed to payment by telephone; please provide a mobile telephone number if possible.
Please note that if you select payment by phone your turnaround time may be delayed until payment is processed.
Payment by phone is only available for domestic and European customers, apologies for any inconvenience.

Will I receive a warranty for my repair?

Of course. We proud ourselves to be not only a competitive and professional company but also to be honest and open with our customers. And so we offer straightforward warranty periods and conditions.
All our remote key fobs repairs are guaranteed for 90 days (industry standard), while the EIS repairs have a limited lifetime warranty and the rest of our repairs are guaranteed for 24 months. Obviously, our warranties can be invoked against the works carried out by ourselves and not against any unrelated fault, wear and tear or accidental damage. You can read the full warranty provisions in our Terms and Conditions section.

I can’t find the repair I need on your website will you still be able to repair my item?

Although we strive to put all our repairs online we may have missed the right one for your specific make and model. We apologise for any inconvenience but don’t worry, we may still be able to successfully repair your remote key fob, instrument cluster, ECU, etc. Just contact us and a member of our team will give you a quotation for your repair and some easy-to-follow instructions.

What order method should I follow: the checkout process or the repair order?

You may have seen that we offer two different order methods on our website: checkout process and repair order. We always encourage our customers to follow the checkout process, i.e. finding his/her item to repair, adding it to the basket and buying the service online; this is the easiest way to order our services and will avoid unnecessary delays in your repair.
However, if for any reason you can’t complete the checkout process or if you are unable to find your specific repair, a member of our team will instruct you on how to complete our online repair order. We are also happy to receive your repair order this way but would recommend, whenever possible, to buy the service online in order to avoid delays in your repair.

I have placed my order, how should I proceed now?

First of all, thank you for your trust in us! Now you just have to print your repair order out, attach it to your item and send them together to our address. For remote key fobs repairs we recommend to put them inside a jiffy bag or similar; for larger items, please wrap them carefully in bubble-wrap or similar. Regarding the delivery, we always advise our customers to send their items via courier or Royal Mail special delivery (tracked & signed).

What sort of experience do you have in the business?

We have more than 20 years of experience in the vehicle industry. So we know everything there is to know about vehicle electronics. We have been repairing remote keys, immobilisers, instrument clusters, airbag modules and many more for quite a long time now, so we can certainly say that there are very few other professionals in the market with our knowledge and experience.

Are you prepared for complex repairs?

Sure. Our high-end equipment and state-of-the-art facilities allow us to successfully take up any vehicle electronics job. The list of repairs we can deal with includes the following components: instrument clusters and speedometers, airbag modules, Electronic Control Units (ECUs), remote key fobs, diesel pumps, climate control units, ABS pumps, ECU remapping or tuning, etc.
So no matter how big or small the job is, we have the capabilities to get your vehicle part repaired.

Once my remote key fob is repaired will it any kind of reprogramming?

No, your remote key won’t need programming to your car when we send it back to you. If the remote belongs to that vehicle it will work properly without the need of reprogramming it.
In some cases though the remote key needs to be synchronised with the car. This synchronising procedure consists of some simple steps that you can easily follow with the instructions provided by our engineers.

My remote key is water damaged, will you be able to repair it?

Remote key fobs are accident-prone items. We have seen microwaved remotes, dog-chewed remotes, kid-shattered remotes, etc. but some of the trickiest repairs are those related to water ingress.
When water leaks inside the remote, its circuit board can get severely damaged. The extent of the damage can’t be assessed beforehand; only after one of our engineers opens the remote case and checks the actual condition of the circuit board can he determine if he will be able to proceed with the repair or otherwise if we will need to order a new circuit board.
Please note, as stated on our Terms and Conditions, that ordering a new circuit board is not included in our standard repair service. In such a case, we will contact you to keep you updated, give you a quotation and ask for your authorisation to proceed. Please also note that the repair service will be slightly delayed by this.

Someone has tried to repair the item, will this affect to your repair service?

If a mechanic, a technician, an acquaintance or even yourself have tried to repair the item and have unsuccessfully tampered with it, it may be possible that some of the internal parts have been irreversibly damaged in the process. Please note, as stated on our Terms and Conditions, that our standard repair service does not cover faulty items due to customer/third party negligence or interference. In such cases, our engineers may need to quote you for the repair service.
