AUDI A4 1.6 – 3.2 TDI PD ABS PUMP REPAIR (PART NO: 302841 / 0265234336)The Audi ABS pump and module system, specifically the Bosch 5.3 variant, have been prone to common failures in models such as A4, A6, A8, Avant, Quattro, etc., spanning the years 1996 to 2000. ABS Pump Module Removal

Typically, we only require the electronic part of the ABS pump, which is attached to the side of the pump with six torx screws and can be easily removed. To access the module, start by removing the passenger side front wheel and the inner wheel arch plastic liner. Afterward, unbolt the washer bottle to provide access to the six torx screws. It’s worth noting that you can still drive the car with the module removed; however, you’ll have conventional braking without ABS function, and the ABS light will remain on until the remanufactured module is refitted.
